Good-Bye Love sacs!!

We have had these love sacs since my oldest was a little over a year(so about 6 years) and i have had to deal with them when pregnant, no being able to get up and down out of them. It was rough. I finally talked my husband into getting a sectional this past weekend. So we went to Weekends only on Saturday around 2:30 pm and looked at sectionals and couches to decide if we really wanted a sectional. We decided on a sectional and cant be happier. Our old worry was if it would fit in our apartment, lol. This one is kinda like the one we got but ours is a 4 piece and much bigger. We measured and guessed for about an hour in the store cuz we didnt know how big our living room was, not a smart thing to do when going sectional shopping!!

So we bought the sectional and a new tv stand (hubby later told me he only bought the tv stand cuz he was getting my mind off buying a table to go with the sectional, silly guy, lol). And we choose to pick up our sectional piece by piece with out vehicle. We own a 2012 Chevy Traverse, so hubby had to take all of us home and take out the carseats and head back to the store to get the pieces. In the end it took 4 trips and till 9pm to get the pieces all to our house and while Jez was driving back and forth I was cleaning the living room to be able to get this huge sectional into our house.

Here are some before and after pictures of what our living room looks like.
Here is a panaramic pic of before the new couch, i had already started cleaning.

Here is what our living room looks like now, thanks to a new sectional and tv stand! I love how it looks now.  It was a great change and i need to get rid of alot of stuff that we cleaned out from the room and the rest of the house!

He's coming home!!

I have not posted since my husband has been out of town. He went to Austin, TX for 3 weeks and he is finally coming home tomorrow! All the kids are way excited as am I. He will be here just in time for school to start and all the kids activities.

Texy and Tyvor got accepted to their preschool and so i will have 3 in school this year! I am excited in a way, but way sad that my kids are growing up. Taryn will be in 2nd grade this year, it jsut hit me like a week ago that she was in 2nd not 1st. I am so proud of the young girl that she has become.

Taryn and Texy will be starting dance/tap/gymnastic on Sept 4th and Tyvor will be starting soccer on Aug 27th(his bday). We went and registered the girls for dance and then right after we went to the dance store, there is a store with all dance stuff in it and they fitted the girls for their shoes and their leotards. Texy was so excited and so happy to be doing all her stuff for dance. But we had to leave the clothes there cuz i was waiting for their sale that they were going to be having the week of Aug 6-11 where we would save 20%. Texy was very upset when we left the store without her dance clothes. We are headed to the store tomorrow to pay for it and then she just has to wait 3 weeks till she can go to dance!  Tyvor had an evaluation for his soccer team and he did way better than some of the other kids that were older than him. I was very proud of him. He has been playing soccer since he was 3 and is always watching soccer with daddy. He loves it and cant ever get enough of it. There are some boys at our apartment complex who are on the local high school soccer team and they always let Ty play with them as well. I love how nice they are to him when he asks to play soccer with them. He thinks he one of the big boys!

My kids are finally doing what i have always wanted to allow them to do. Play sports or an activity like i did when i was little. I always thought it would be very important fro my kids to be active in a sport or activity at a young age like i was. I always looked forward to my sports practice or game! I really hope my children have fun this year and learn alot!

Tyzek is officially 1, i have a 7,5,3 and 1 year old!! He has started walking regularly and he is so cute at it. He has thinned out a lot but got very tall. He is trying to talk more and get around with the other kids. Tyzek loves to come and sit with me in my knitting chair. He will occasionally fall asleep with me when i knit and he loves to sleep on my shoulder!

I am loving living in St Louis. There is so much for us to do and so much we still have not ventured.
